The donations you have made are making a difference. We're almost half way to granting our first wish, having reached $2,700 after only 5 days! Thank you all for your generosity.
Yesterday's traing was a recovery workout in the pool, a 45 minute easy swim. After Fridays 90 minute Spin/TRX class ... I needed a day off on Saturday!
Thanks for helping these wish kids.
Make-a-Wish Michigan is an organization that is close to my heart. The Make-A-Wish mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. October 15-November 17 I'll be climbing Ama Dablam in Nepal in support of wish kids who have a mountain of their own to climb. I'm going to raise a minimum of $1 for every 1 foot I climb. My goal is $35,000. You can follow me in this climb on facebook, twitter and here on my blog.

Climbing for Kids
Welcome to my blog where I'll be posting updates on training and fundraising for my Wish Climb late next fall!!
In the fall of 2015 I'll be climbing and raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation mission is to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions. www.michigan.wish.org
Follow along with me as I prepare and go on my climb. And if you're inspired to be a wish granter, please go to my fundraising page:

You can help too by sharing this blog on your Facebook page and on Twitter.
For every foot I climb I plan to raise $1.00. I am paying my own way on this climb so every dollar you donate goes directly to fulfilling a child's wish. You can follow my training and climb on this blog and on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Wishclimber.
